Job Description
Helion is seeking a Computational Plasma Engineer to join their team at the Everett, WA office. This role involves simulating plasma physics, calculating FRC dynamics, analyzing experimental data, and collaborating with experts. The position is a pivotal moment as Helion moves closer to its goal of building a world-first fusion power plant.
Requirements
- PhD. in Physics or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of magnetic field diffusion and eddy currents.
- Experience writing scripts to analyze output, parse files, and create plots.
- Experience with MATLAB and Fortran
- Experience using computer simulation tools for circuit dynamics, fluid dynamics, or plasma dynamics.
