Mold Maintenance Technician 1

Under the direction of the Mold Maintenance Supervisor, the Mold Maintenance Techs are responsible for evaluating, maintaining and repairing of molds. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Above average mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment and tool room equipment (mills, lathes, drill press, surface grinders, saws to fabricate parts,)
• Aptitude for very close tolerance precision work.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a machine shop or Mold Maintenance department with the ability to read blue prints.
• Work independently.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability for daily and weekend overtime work required.
• Experience working with injection molding tools.
• Prior fork lift experience preferred
