Senior Backend Engineer - Production (m,f,x)

As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Production Team, you'll shape and scale the systems that power the operational processes behind every HelloFresh box. You'll design, build, and operate systems that have a direct impact on how HelloFresh fulfills customer orders every day.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services powering HelloFresh's production systems.
• Work primarily with Python and C#/.NET, leveraging our ServiceStack-based service architecture.
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle — from implementation to deployment and ongoing operations — following DevOps and CI/CD principles.
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional agile team, including product, frontend, data, and operations, to deliver impactful production solutions.
• Contribute to system reliability, scalability, and performance improvements.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help refine our technical direction as we continue to evolve our production technology.
• Mentor team members, share knowledge, and advocate for best engineering practices across the team.
