Job Description
HelloKindred is seeking an AWS Architect to design and implement large scale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency, scalability, and observability. The role requires strong collaboration with cross functional teams and driving DevOps, automation, and Agile best practices across teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture and distributed systems
- Strong expertise with AWS platforms including IaaS, PaaS, serverless, containers, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong database knowledge with PostgreSQL and NoSQL technologies such as DynamoDB and DocumentDB
- Hands on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI CD, Jenkins, and DevOps toolchains
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized microservices
- Experience with API first and event driven architectures and Kafka ecosystem
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools, especially ELK
- Strong knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills to engage technical and business stakeholders
- Experience working with global distributed teams
- Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF preferred
- Familiarity with financial services domain and credit cards preferred
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification preferred
