Help AG is looking for a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer with strong expertise in network security, firewall technologies, NAC solutions, and OT/ICS environments.
Requirements
- Act as an on-site cyber security expert to design, implement, and manage enterprise and industrial network security architectures.
- Deploy and support FortiGate Firewalls with HA, VDOMs, IPS, AV, SSL inspection and VPNs.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) using FMC.
- Implement and maintain FortiNAC for network access control, device profiling, onboarding, and segmentation.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, and security layers.
- Support LAN/WAN networks using Cisco and multi-vendor platforms.
- Implement VLANs, trunking, STP, HSRP/VRRP, and multicast where required.
- Support high availability and redundancy designs.
- Secure Operational Technology (OT) environments including SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial networks.
- Design IT–OT network segmentation using firewalls, zones, and DMZ architectures.
- Apply security controls aligned with IEC 62443, NIST, and ISA standards.
- Understand industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, Profinet, EtherNet/IP.
- Support risk assessments and mitigation strategies for critical infrastructure.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and network outages.
- Conduct firewall rule reviews, audits, and optimization.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reporting.
- Provide Tier-3 escalation support and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, security standards, and SOPs.
- Support compliance requirements and security audits.
- Collaborate with IT, OT, SOC, and application teams.
