Job Description
The Transmission Estimator prepares bid estimates for medium to large projects, ensuring compliance with Henkels & McCoy practices and overseeing procurement of materials and subcontractor work. This role involves traveling to job sites, managing contract requirements, and proactively identifying potential cost and risk reduction strategies.
Requirements
- Experience in estimating mid-scale projects and advanced knowledge of construction and utility industry practices
- Experience with computerized bidding software and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Completion of H&M PMM training and some formal Project Management coursework
- Complex problem-solving skills
- BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
