Job Description
Prepares and maintains the sterile operative area of the patient before, during, and after operation. Assists during surgery and cleans, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and supplies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in sterile procedures in an operating room setting
- Graduation from a surgical technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
- Immediate response to emergency procedures
