The Senior Aviation Mechanic will help maintain the company's aircraft to remain in a continuous state of airworthiness, assist the Flight Department in day-to-day operations, and ensure expectations are met efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Aeronautics, or a related technical field preferred
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification required
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 3 years working on multi-engine jet aircraft
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong mathematical skills
- Knowledge regarding aircraft materials and their properties
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and operating equipment
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
