Sr Aviation Mechanic

The Senior Aviation Mechanic will help maintain the company's aircraft to remain in a continuous state of airworthiness, assist the Flight Department in day-to-day operations, and ensure expectations are met efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Aeronautics, or a related technical field preferred
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification required
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 3 years working on multi-engine jet aircraft
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong mathematical skills
• Knowledge regarding aircraft materials and their properties
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and operating equipment
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
