Data Protection Manager DACH / BENELUX / EMEA

We are looking for a Data Protection Manager to join our team in Langen, Germany. The role involves providing independent advice on data protection law topics, checking and developing data protection-conforming processes, and conducting data protection impact assessments. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in law, economics, IT, or a comparable qualification, and at least 3 years of professional experience in data protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law, economics, IT, or comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in data protection
• Comprehensive knowledge of the DSGVO / GDPR and other relevant data protection laws in DACH and BENELUX countries
• Practical experience in advising interdisciplinary departments and dealing with complex, international data processing processes
• High independence, sense of responsibility, and advisory strength
• Team player who feels comfortable in an international, multicultural work environment
• Ability to explain complex data protection topics in a clear and understandable way
• Very good German and English language skills (word and writing)
• Ability to travel for occasional visits to our locations in Europe
