Assistant Professor in Actuarial Mathematics

We are seeking an Assistant Professor in Actuarial Mathematics to teach and conduct research in actuarial mathematics. The successful candidate will be based at our Edinburgh campus and will play a key role in the development of the Department of Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics.

Requirements

• Fellow or Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries
• Industry experience of actuarial work in life insurance
• Ability to communicate effectively with students
• Demonstrate understanding and confidence in applying a range of strategies for promoting and evaluating learning
