Postdoctoral Research Associate in 2D SPD Arrays for Quantum Networking

We're looking for a motivated researcher with a strong background in experimental quantum optics, photonics, or optical communications, eager to push the boundaries of secure global connectivity. The role involves conducting experimental research into quantum key distribution (QKD), exploring the dual-use capabilities of 2D SPAD arrays, and developing novel multiplexing techniques for high-throughput secure links.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant area
• Experience in writing and managing peer-reviewed papers/reports
• Ability to articulate research work, both in technical reports/papers and by oral presentation
• Working knowledge and extensive hands-on experience of practical quantum communications and use of single-photon avalanche diodes
