Research Intern - Homelessness Prevention Programme

The Research Intern - Homelessness Prevention Programme is a 9-month paid internship at Heriot-Watt University's Institute for Social Policy, Housing, Equalities Research (I-SPHERE). The role involves designing and leading in-depth research on homelessness prevention in the UK, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to the programme's capacity-building activities.

Requirements

• Excellent undergraduate degree (1st or 2:1) in a relevant discipline.
• Experience working with disadvantaged or vulnerable groups in the UK.
• Passion for social justice and homelessness prevention.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills – written and oral.
• Willingness to travel across the UK for research fieldwork and meetings.
