Job Description
Hermeus is a venture capital-backed aerospace and defense technology company focused on developing high-performance propulsion systems for the Department of Defense. They are seeking highly motivated students for a Propulsion Test Engineering Internship in the Spring 2026 semester to gain hands-on experience in testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting. The internship provides opportunities to learn about systems-level testing and contribute to hypersonic development efforts.
Requirements
- Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles (internships, studies, or projects)
- Current enrollment in a STEM program (undergraduate in your 3rd or 4th year or Master's/Ph.D.)
- Strong interest in propulsion systems and testing
- Understanding of engineering first principles
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- GPA of 3.0 or above
