Job Description
Hex is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to lead the future of their platform architecture. The role involves strategic leadership, mentorship of a growing team, and building scalable systems with AWS/Kubernetes/PostgreSQL/Redis. This is a technical leadership position with rapid growth and a focus on continuous learning in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
- 3+ years in technical leadership
- Deep expertise with AWS services
- Production experience with Kubernetes orchestration and container management
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Solid understanding of application deployment and scaling
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Strong communication and leadership skills
