Strategic Purchaser

Join the Procurement Team within the Machine Control Division in Odense and work closely with the core of the business. As a Strategic Purchaser, you will be responsible for managing and developing supplier relationships at a strategic level to ensure an optimal supply chain, cost efficiency, and strong collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Requirements

• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure risk management, availability, quality, and cost optimization
• Negotiating contracts, pricing, delivery performance, and total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Maintaining supplier, product, and master data in SAP in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Conducting ongoing evaluations and regular supplier reviews (BRM) to ensure compliance with commercial and regulatory standards
• Managing supplier deviations together with relevant stakeholders
• Providing escalation support to planning and procurement to identify alternative material sources
• Selecting, evaluating, and approving new suppliers in collaboration with Quality and in line with global procurement guidelines
• Leading procurement activities within cost savings and lifecycle management projects
• Implementing upcoming requirements across the supplier portfolio to ensure continuous compliance with import, export, and quality regulations (nationally and internationally)
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and supplier management programs
