Job Description
This position is for a General Rotating Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform a wide range of laboratory procedures in all clinical areas of a hospital. The technician will be responsible for patient testing, quality control, correlation studies, and specimen collection, while maintaining a safe and clean environment. They need excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in science and completion of clinical training in an approved school of medical technology for MLTs (or equivalent)
- Registered by ASCP preferred.
- Medical or Clinical laboratory experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Good organizational skills
