Job Description
The Paramedic performs a wide variety of patient care activities related to patients being treated and transported by ambulance. They drive emergency vehicles, perform life support procedures, and also provide patient care when the patient is in the ambulance. This position involves driving emergency vehicles and is subject to the guidelines of the Alabama Department of Public Health EMS Division.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Emergency Medical Services with a current license from the Alabama State Department of Public Health as an EMT-Paramedic /Driver
- Current Alabama State Department of Public Health License for Emergency Medical Services (EMT-Paramedic / Driver)
- Ability to provide patient care within the scope of practice for Life Support procedures
