Job Description
The Health Care Assistant (HCA) supports assigned units at the PACU 1ST Ortho Spine Tower, providing patient care, assisting staff, and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities include vital signs, patient transfers, clerical support, and discharge preparation. The position requires BCLS certification and prior patient care experience.
Requirements
- HS/GED required
- Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant or Huntsville Hospital Health Care Assistant course (preferred)
- BCLS certification
- Previous patient care experience
- Two years of clerical experience
