HVAC Mechanic 2 (FT) Maintenance

Inspect, report malfunctions, and make repairs to HVAC equipment and related systems. Performs routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment with assorted hand and power tools.

Requirements

• HS/GED preferred
• Technical training in preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
• Six years experience or comparable combination of education and experience in HVAC maintenance required
• Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment with assorted hand and power tools
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams, with a basic understanding of blueprints
• Ability to reason and troubleshoot problems in a logical, systematic manner
• Ability to maintain and complete written records, logs, requisitions and work orders
• Posses a basic understanding of applicable codes and ordinances
• Knowledge of general safety rules
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures
