Patient Care Aide - DeKalb Acute Medical Care Unit - FT

The Patient Care Assistant shall be responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of an RN and LPN, including vital signs, total patient care, and activities of daily living.

Requirements

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information
• Demonstrate ability to do Vital signs and document
• Assist with total patient care, activities of daily living, and proper lifting techniques
• Communicate with the RN or LPN on all aspects of patient care
• Follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and DRMC
