Job Description
High Country Community Health is seeking a full-time General Dentist to provide clinical dental services and preventative care in a community health center. The role involves extensive patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as collaborating with dental assistants and office managers. This position supports the provision of continuing education and the maintenance of appropriate dental department policies.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited general practice residency program (preferred)
- Knowledge of community health principles and practices (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- FTCA coverage or private professional malpractice insurance obtainable
- Current CPR (BLS) certifications
- North Carolina DEA registration
- Medicare and Medicaid provider numbers
- OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Exposure Classification (Category I)
