Job Description
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with behavioral health disorders in an outpatient setting, both in-person and through telehealth. This role involves managing medication, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and developing individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Outstanding communication skills with behavioral health staff and the community.
- Thorough knowledge of modern psychiatric medicine principles.
- General knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Community Health Centers.
- Experience with Telehealth.
- Medical degree from an accredited University or training as a PMHNP
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Behavioral Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
