Senior Unreal Programmer

High Voltage is seeking a Senior Unreal Programmer to join its rapidly growing Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the development of future gameplay features, working closely with art and design, and contributing ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 5-8+ years of experience working with Unreal Engine (both in UE4 and UE5) in the gaming industry
• Experience developing games professionally on PC and consoles with shipped titles
• Strong C++ and Epic Blueprint skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools
• Strong math skills
• Well versed in games and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games (an interest in online games is preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
• Passion for video games
