Patient Care Technician - BHU - Casual - Allegheny Valley Hospital

Patient Care Technician provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination. Must have high school diploma or GED and limited or no experience. Performs basic nursing procedures, maintains patient/family environment, and documents patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Limited or no experience
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to perform basic mathematics
• Basic computer skills
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
