Patient Care Technician I / SEIU - J, ARU, Full Time, AVH

Patient Care Technician I provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination. They are expected to perform basic nursing procedures, assist RNs with acutely ill patients, and maintain patient/family environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Limited or no experience: Must be able to attend 2 weeks of training
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to perform basic mathematics
• Basic computer skills
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
