Job Description
We are seeking a Contract Surveyor to manage costs, oversee procurement, and support the commercial delivery of residential projects. The role involves managing subcontractor procurement, valuations, payments, and final accounts, as well as collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- HND/HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction or Building Studies
- Experience in contract or quantity surveying in residential development
- Working towards or full membership of RICS or CIOB (preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness, numeracy and analytical skills
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
- Proficient in subcontract documentation, remeasurement, and value engineering
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with procurement planning, reporting tools and construction methodology
