Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists patients with nursing care, providing comfort, vital signs measurement, and ADL assistance. This position contributes to a positive work environment and fosters the values of the Hillsboro Medical Center. Responsibilities include patient transfer, cleaning and organization, administrative duties, and supporting the nursing staff.
Requirements
- Current Oregon CNA Certification
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS (preferred)
- Current BLS Certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Basic office equipment and software
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and multitasking
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to build relationships
- Demonstrable skills in providing patient care to various patient populations
