Job Description
Hines is seeking a Senior Property Accountant - Mixed Use with a career-driven focus on innovation and excellence. This role involves ensuring accurate accounting information for projects and the construction business, preparing financial statements, and managing asset management functions. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
- CPA designation (or intention to work toward CPA designation) is preferred
- Three years of public accounting experience or 4 years of professional accounting experience
- 3+ years of prior management experience
- Commercial real estate experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency utilizing various systems including Oracle & JD Edwards
- Ability to lift 5-35 lbs
- Ability to work overtime
- 3+ years prior management experience.
