SEO Specialist (Content Expert)

We are seeking an SEO Specialist (Content Expert) to optimize existing content, improve indexing, and manage Local SEO initiatives for a client. The role focuses on making content discoverable, improving local search visibility, and building internal links. The position offers a remote-first work environment with flexible hours and a mission-driven team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Content SEO and Local SEO
• Deep understanding of Google My Business optimization, local ranking factors, and citation building
• Proven ability to optimize existing content for improved visibility and engagement
• Familiar with tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar
• Strong grasp of internal linking strategies and content hierarchy
• Knowledge of basic HTML, on-page SEO elements, and schema markup
• Clear communicator with strong presentation skills
