HireNow Staffing is partnering with a precision manufacturing operation seeking an experienced Tool Maker A with strong manual machining expertise. This role requires advanced technical skill in building, modifying, and maintaining precision tooling used in complex manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on manual machining experience in a manufacturing or tool room environment
- Strong experience operating manual milling machines and manual lathes
- Demonstrated ability to work with tight tolerances and precision measurements
- Ability to read, interpret, and work directly from engineering blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges
- Strong troubleshooting ability related to tooling performance and machining processes
- Ability and willingness to complete written and hands-on Tool Maker A testing
- Stable employment history demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment
- High school diploma or equivalent
