The Data Product Manager, Analytics role is responsible for building a strong understanding of end-to-end user journeys & processes, eliciting and documenting scope, processes & requirements, and developing business and technical analysis deliverables. The role requires 5-8 years of experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, with a focus on data product management, stakeholder communication, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience with insurance policy administration systems, data warehouses, semantic models, and visualizations, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Gather and analyze requirements
- Develop and maintain business requirements for analytics use cases
- Partner with stakeholders to review and update requirements
- Collaborate with data engineers and source system teams
- Manage data-related incidents and identify, communicate, and resolve or escalate issues
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Facilitate team consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions
- Translate business requirements into technical design
- Document user journeys and system workflows
- Apply product management best practices and insights
