Power System Studies Engineer

As a Power System Studies Engineer at Hitachi Energy Sweden AB, you will undertake various simulation studies, make reports, and present to customers. You will also coordinate and communicate with disciplines involved in project and tender deliveries. You will work in an international environment with a global project team.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 5 years of job experience within power systems analysis
• Knowledge and experience of programs and tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB, EMTP-RV, Python etc
• Previous experience in modelling of windfarms and studying their stability in projects with the STATCOM application along with Synchronous Condenser Machine modeling and studies
• Previous experience of working in tenders and familiar with activities such as cost estimation, coordination with sales, understanding customer specification
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Good communication skills and ability to work individually and as a team in a dynamic and multicultural environment
