Sales Specialist

At Hitachi Energy, we are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our team in Europe. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the capture team to develop newly identified opportunities and positioning Hitachi Energy as a partner of choice. You will work closely with the Bid and Sales team on large project opportunities over $50M, delivering high-quality and strategically focused bids, leading negotiations, and ensuring successful contract closure.

Requirements

• Proven record of accomplishment in team management and delivery of substation projects
• Proven sales and risk management experience focused on winning forecast opportunities
• Sales experience selling solutions rather than product
• Proven record of accomplishment as a manager building and developing high-performance sales teams
• Proven sales and Account Management experience within Sustainable Energy industry or similar
• Bachelor's degree or HNC in engineering or similar STEM fields
• Demonstrable experience of managing large customer relationships
• Extensive experience in leading and/or delivering complex solution-based opportunities
• Proven customer and stakeholder management skills, well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
