Job Description
We are seeking a Substation Automation - Secondary Design Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing single line diagrams, panel layouts, and protection and control panel schematics for medium/high voltage substations. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical tools, very good knowledge of protection & control systems for T&D/Gen, and familiarity with codes and applicable standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in B.E / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 5-8 years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical tools
- Very good knowledge of Protection & Control Systems for T&D/Gen
- Familiarity with codes and applicable standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain professionalism
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language
