The Department of Physics at HKBU invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor. The appointees will perform high-impact research, teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contribute to professional and institutional services.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Physics, Microelectronics, Advanced Materials or other relevant disciplines
• Proven track record of collaborative research
• Strong commitment to teaching
• Experimental scientists with expertise in soft matters, biomaterials, flexible electronics, and electronics with living systems are encouraged to apply

Benefits

• Tenure-track position
• Initial appointment on a fixed-term contract of three years
• Re-appointment subject to mutual agreement
• Tenure expected to be attained within six years
