Job Description
HMBL is seeking a passionate Founding Software Engineer to join an early-stage AI startup in Mountain View. They leverage industry best practices, data, and AI to acquire top tech talent and focus on transparency, communication, and innovation. The role involves hands-on development using Python, Web Frameworks, and building scalable business logic in a distributed systems environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing/architecting large scale Web services
- Experience in databases, distributed systems, and backend performance measurement and optimization
- Experience in Python or other programming languages such as Go, Java, or C++
- Experience in web frameworks such as Django
- Good understanding of database internals and experience in working on the AWS
- Substantial production server experience or equivalent
- Wants ownership and impact and looking to own projects from end to end
