Job Description
The Project Engineer Intern will assist the project team with site logistics, subcontractor/vendor management, quality control, and scheduling. This is a 40-hour-per-week on-the-job position requiring field work and strong communication skills. The role involves reviewing blueprints, distributing requests for information, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
- Interpretation of blueprint construction drawings and technical manuals.
- Writing and publishing meeting minutes, schedule graphs and activity checklists.
- Receiving and distributing requests for information and change documents.
- Organization and filing of record documents.
- Field surveying and layout of control lines and benchmarks.
- Information storage and retrieval using computers.
- Technical advisor at onsite field construction office.
