Sr Specification Writer

HOK is hiring a Sr Specifications Writer to join our team in our Kansas City studio. This role is responsible for developing detailed project specifications and assisting project teams in coordinating contract documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering or equivalent in education or experience required
• 10 years in architectural practice with prior experience in specifications development
• Advanced knowledge in one or more building and facility types such as Sports, Recreation, Hospitality and Corporate/Commercial
• Registered Architect with current license preferred
• NCARB registration preferred
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred
• Construction Specifications Institute Certification preferred
