Equipment Mechanic

Holbrook Asphalt is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to perform setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Company vehicles and equipment. The role involves operating a variety of tools and heavy machinery, including hand/power tools, diesel trucks, trailers, and pavement preservation equipment. Approximately 50% of the time is spent in the shop, with the other 50% spent on job sites and requiring overtime.

Requirements

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of operations equipment.
• Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment.
• Prepares and sets up equipment for daily use.
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders.
• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in harsh conditions.
