Senior Compliance Manager (Travel Insurance)

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping how compliance supports, enables and strengthens our Insurance business. This is a senior, influential role at the heart of the Insurance team, shaping how compliance supports commercial success and customer trust.

Requirements

• Proven experience in compliance or risk within regulated financial services (insurance strongly preferred)
• A compliance qualification such as ICA, CII and/or an internal audit qualification (e.g. IIA)
• Demonstrable experience implementing or assuring Consumer Duty outcomes and conduct frameworks
• Strong working knowledge of the FCA Handbook & reporting platforms, UK GDPR and operational controls
• Good judgement and experience navigating the ambiguity in compliance, working pragmatically with the business
• A solid understanding of online marketing compliance and ASA expectations within the insurance market
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across the business producing Board-level papers, regulatory MI and leading audits or reviews
• An analytical mindset, able to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable insight
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to both senior and operational stakeholders
• A collaborative, resilient and pragmatic approach, with sound judgement and the confidence to escalate where customer harm or regulatory risk is material
