Registers and checks-in patients for outpatient appointments, collects co-pays, and schedules follow-up appointments. Coordinates referrals to internal and external healthcare providers. Enters data into Electronic Medical Records.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Responder - American Heart Association certification 60 days after hire required
- 1-2 years experience in Customer Service required
- Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and data entry preferred
- Previous experience working in a medical office setting preferred
- Graduate of a Medical Administrative Assistant Program preferred
- Bilingual preferred
