Job Description
Hologic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for new and existing medical device products, supporting users in clinical and internal applications like C#, WPF, .NET, Java, and Android. The role involves both technical excellence and team leadership, requiring a strong understanding of coding practices and mentorship of junior engineers. The position supports development and testing efforts for clinical, internal users and focuses on product improvement and new feature design.
Requirements
- Expert understanding of computer science concepts
- Expert programming skills in .NET/C#, C++, Java or similar language
- Demonstrated mastery of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
- Strong debugging skills
- Strong familiarity with developer tooling and process improvement
