Job Description
Provide a wide range of professional legal support services, including drafting legal and business communications, summarizing documents, managing projects, and performing legal research. Serve as the administrative assistant for the Legal Department, fulfilling traditional administrative assistant duties.
Requirements
- 2 or 4-year degree, paralegal studies, or Paralegal certificate
- 2+ years’ experience working as a paralegal in a law department within a corporation or law firm
- Familiarity with litigation process and procedure
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly and to prioritize multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Internet use, and office equipment operation
