Job Description
Hood Plywood, a division of Hood Industries, Inc., is seeking an Automation Tech for its Beaumont, MS facility. This role is crucial for the successful development and implementation of an automated production process, involving maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment stability. The position is a greenfield site with up to 250 employees.
Requirements
- Participation/compliance with company safety programs.
- Onsite support for construction, maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems.
- Assist in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) troubleshooting.
- Perform periodic maintenance of automation cells.
- Collaborate with other teams for automation-focused projects.
- Assist with planning and execution of automation projects.
