Job Description
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a key member of the senior leadership team and will lead Hope for Haiti’s fundraising, relationship building and donor engagement strategy. The CDO is responsible for cultivating and stewarding major donors, overseeing development operations, engaging the Board of Directors in fundraising, and ensuring a best-in-class donor journey.
Requirements
- Donor Engagement & Major Gifts (40%): Developing and implementing Hope for Haiti Donor Journey
- Primary Contact for Donor Inquiries
- Expanding and Enriching Donor Relationships
- Donor Recognition/Expansion Events
- Meeting with Potential, New, and Existing Donors
- Reporting to Development Committee
- Multi-Channel Donor Experience Strategy
- Staying Current on Macroeconomic Issues
