Product Engineer, Core & Connectivity (Laravel - Remote)

Hospitable.com is seeking a Product Engineer to build and improve the core platform, maintain stability, and contribute to feature development for their Core & Connectivity component. This role involves deep dives into the codebase, partner integrations, and working within a Kubernetes-powered infrastructure, primarily focusing on core platform development and OTA connectivity. They prioritize value, customer feedback, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend technologies
• Significant experience with Laravel, PHP 7+, MySQL
• Exceptional communication skills (written communication)
• Experience with queues/job-centric backends is a plus
• Experience with building production systems
• Self-motivation and the ability to make decisions in uncertainty
