Job Description
We are seeking a Release of Information (ROI) Specialist to join our team at the Hospital for Behavioral Medicine in Worcester, MA. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in the mental health and chemical dependency field. The ROI Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the release of protected health information, reviewing requests and authorizations, and collaborating with internal and external parties to meet customer needs and organizational requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health and chemical dependency
- Certification as a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) with AHIMA preferred
