Senior Backend Software Engineer (Node.js) - Horizons team

Join Hostinger and help shape the future of online success. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you'll build powerful backend systems for the Horizons platform, collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineers to drive innovation and excellence.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL or MySQL in production environments.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and experience building them.
• Testing mindset with experience in unit testing and integration testing (Jest, Mocha, or similar).
• Database knowledge with SQL and at least one ORM (Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma, or similar), Redis.
• Git proficiency with experience working in team environments and collaborating through version control.
• Self-starter mentality with ownership, good questioning, and willingness to challenge approaches.
• Good communication skills with documentation, sharing progress, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
