Job Description
The Shemer Art Center is seeking a creative and customer-focused Gift Shop Specialist to enhance the visibility, organization, and sales performance of the Gift Shop. This part-time role involves ensuring the representation of 60+ Arizona artists, providing exceptional shopping experiences, and maintaining a professional appearance.
Requirements
- Energetic, friendly, and customer-service oriented.
- Knowledge of fine art with prior retail or gallery experience strongly preferred.
- Strong soft-selling, merchandising, and display skills.
- Proficiency in Mac (Apple) computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be available for non-benefited work (15 hours/week), with additional hours required during special events.
- Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, 10:00am – 3:00pm.
