The Network Administrator II is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the organization’s network and server environments, including monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving issues, deploying upgrades, patches, and new application/equipment, and assisting in disaster recovery and security enforcement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of experience in a similar network or systems administration role
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2012–2016, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Cisco device setup, configuration, and management
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and data communication protocols
- Skilled in managing Windows Server infrastructure and overseeing deployments and rollouts
- Experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMware Server/ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Server
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking principles
- Proficient in Active Directory/LDAP for user and group administration
